A few days ago, I met a friend at Starbucks for a “quick” cup of coffee. As we sat and shared ideas about family, our careers, the economy, our goals and our visions, in the blink of an eye, 3 hours had quickly passed. In this post, I’m going to share my “epiphany” as to why some folks stay stuck in their lives, and are never able to unleash their full potential.
Nobody ever said life was going to be a bed of roses…but then again, nobody ever said certain folks should always be dealt the crappy hand either. In this post I am going to give you my own personal experience and opinion as to why bad breaks, bad news, challenges, setbacks and shortcomings are actually a real blessing in disguise.
2 months ago, our family lost one of the most beautiful blessings the Universe has ever sent into our lives. Remembering the loss of someone so special makes me again realize how much we waste our time on trivial things when we should be focusing our time and energy on things that are genuinely important to us.
With 2012 just around the corner, many folks are beginning to think of changes they would like to make in their life throughout the upcoming year. If you resolve to do something to improve the quality of your life, even if it’s just a ripple, you will feel more at peace and in control of the present and of your future.
Kids are pretty terrific. Unfortunately, I don’t have any of my own, but I have been continuously surrounded by these wonderful little people thanks to my siblings and my friends. A few weeks ago, I made an “unintentional” observation while having lunch with a friend. It was a simple “smart” action taken by a young Mom that prompted me to write this post.
With the world in such a financial demise, it’s no secret that most folks have lost their hope and belief in the “American Dream.” Along with the loss of great expectations of a better tomorrow, many people have allowed their thoughts to turn to pessimism, negativity and despair. Identifying your Core Desire is the first step in determining what you aspire for your future. Your Core desire will take you through numerous trials and tribulations. It will test your patience, and eventually it will lead you a level of Success you may have always perceived as unattainable.
The traits of a good leader are numerous. Not all great leaders are born leaders. They develop exceptional leadership skills and fine tune them through experience. Exceptional leaders are personal growth “Junkies” and are always seeking new ways to sharpen their leadership skills.
No matter what you desire in life, you must first set a mental equivalent to attract it. Whether it be regarding a satisfying career, optimal health, wealth or relationships, you must program your mindset to those channels in order to receive it. Believing in the power of the subconscious mind, is the first step in developing a healthy mindset.
Negativity is a human disease. Its symptoms include pain, suffering, conflict, disillusionment, anxiety, fear, worry and struggle. If your positivity meter is stuck in the “Red Zone,” the good news is, there are simple cures which may be applied immediately to assist you in becoming healthy.
